Friday was a beautiful early Summer evening & the team had a great walk from Ambleside up Skelghyll lane & over Robin Lane to Troutbeck. They barely even broke a sweat.

Saturday was a little more daring with abseiling into Cathedral Quarry. The two drops here allow for the bold and the not so bold, so you can set your own level of adventure.

There was then a parting of the ways as half the team went open Canoing on Windermere and the remainder headed into Church Beck which flows down from the Coniston Copper mines.
